Singer profiles agree on his birth date, 25 June 1988, but they do not agree on where he was born, and this page does not hide that disagreement. One detailed profile gives his birthplace as Heran village, near Raikot in Ludhiana district. Another widely copied profile gives Mohali, as both birthplace and home town, while a third gives Chandigarh. Until a stronger source settles the question, the honest summary is that he is a Punjabi singer from Punjab, born in 1988, whose exact birthplace is reported differently by different profiles. The Heran account is the only one that names a village, so Heran is the home place linked on this page, with the disagreement stated openly. The debut was noticed: at the Filmfare Awards Punjabi 2018 he was nominated for Best Debut Actor in a Leading Role, Male, with Filmfare noting that he brought the film to life with his one liners and smart alec act. In Doorbeen in 2019 he took a very different part, playing Inspector Ranjit, the police officer sent to investigate the illegal liquor trade in a village, opposite Ninja and Wamiqa Gabbi. His later roles widened the range further. In Ghund Kadh Le Ni Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya in 2022, released first as Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya, he played Jassa alongside Gurnam Bhullar and Sargun Mehta in a 1990s set romantic comedy. In Es Jahano Door Kitte Chal Jindiye in 2023 he played Mehtab Singh, a man who leaves his mother in the Punjab of 1988 and travels to the United Kingdom, in a film about Punjabis living far from home.
