Pero Langah is a village in Gurdaspur tehsil of Gurdaspur district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Majha region, and the 2011 directory recorded Gurdaspur, about 18 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Kahnuwan community development block and is served by the Bhuchh gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 028388, and it covers 39 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 122 people in Pero Langah: 67 men and 55 women, living in 23 households, an average of about 5.3 people per household. Spread over its 39 hectares, the population density works out to about 313 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 821 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 10, about 8 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 5 people, about 4 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded. Literacy in 2011 stood at 92.86 per cent among residents aged seven and above, with men at 93.22 per cent and women at 92.45 per cent.
