Aima is a village of Hoshiarpur tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Hariana, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Bhunga community development block and is served by the Gajj gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 031374, and it covers 46 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 14 people in Aima: 8 men and 6 women, living in 5 households, an average of about 2.8 people per household. Spread over its 46 hectares, the population density works out to about 30 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 750 women for every 1,000 men.
