Chhaurian is a village of Dasua tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Dasua, about 8 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Dasua community development block and is served by the Galowal gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030773, and it covers 132 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 108 people in Chhaurian: 46 men and 62 women, living in 21 households, an average of about 5.1 people per household.
