Rajwan is a village of Hoshiarpur tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Hoshiarpur, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Hoshiarpur-II community development block and is served by the Bhatrana gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 031735, and it covers 110 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 48 people in Rajwan: 28 men and 20 women, living in 9 households, an average of about 5.3 people per household. Spread over its 110 hectares, the population density works out to about 44 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 714 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 2, about 4 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 7 people, about 15 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
