Bahudinpur is a village of Jalandhar East tehsil in Jalandhar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Adampur, about 5 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Adampur community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030299, and it covers 94 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 260 people in Bahudinpur: 138 men and 122 women, living in 57 households, an average of about 4.6 people per household. Spread over its 94 hectares, the population density works out to about 277 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 884 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 31, about 12 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 202 people, about 78 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
