Daryapur is a village of Jalandhar West tehsil in Jalandhar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Jalandhar, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Jalandhar (West) community development block and is served by the Athaula gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030440, and it covers 109 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 82 people in Daryapur: 42 men and 40 women, living in 13 households, an average of about 6.3 people per household. Spread over its 109 hectares, the population density works out to about 75 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 952 women for every 1,000 men.
