Miranpur is a village in Phillaur tehsil of Jalandhar district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Doaba region, and the 2011 directory recorded Goraya, about 6 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Phillaur community development block and is served by the Indna Kalaske gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030178, and it covers 132 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 120 people in Miranpur: 59 men and 61 women, living in 20 households, an average of about 6.0 people per household. Spread over its 132 hectares, the population density works out to about 91 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1034 women for every 1,000 men.
