Theh Kanjla is a village of Kapurthala tehsil in Kapurthala district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Kapurthala, about 4 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Kapurthala community development block and is served by the Kanjli gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 029173, and it covers 253 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 63 people in Theh Kanjla: 36 men and 27 women, living in 10 households, an average of about 6.3 people per household. Spread over its 253 hectares, the population density works out to about 25 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 750 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 4, about 6 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 4 people, about 6 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
