Bur Majra is a village of Rajpura tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Ghanaur, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Ghanaur community development block and is served by the Alana gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036880, and it covers 89 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 34 people in Bur Majra: 19 men and 15 women, living in 9 households, an average of about 3.8 people per household.
