Faridpur Gujran is a village in Rajpura tehsil of Patiala district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Rajpura, about 3 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Rajpura community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 037003, and it covers 131 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 258 people in Faridpur Gujran: 141 men and 117 women, living in 53 households, an average of about 4.9 people per household. Spread over its 131 hectares, the population density works out to about 197 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 830 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 33, about 13 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 18 people, about 7 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
