Paharon is a village of Anandpur Sahib tehsil in Rupnagar district, Punjab, in the Puadh region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Anandpur Sahib, about 20 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Nurpur Bedi community development block and is served by the Bhatton gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 038465, and it covers 57 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 18 people in Paharon: 11 men and 7 women, living in 3 households, an average of about 6.0 people per household. Spread over its 57 hectares, the population density works out to about 32 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 636 women for every 1,000 men.
