Saini Majra is a village of Kharar tehsil in SAS Nagar district, Punjab, in the Puadh region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Kurali, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Majri community development block and is served by the Saini Majara gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 039006, and it covers 187 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 152 people in Saini Majra: 77 men and 75 women, living in 28 households, an average of about 5.4 people per household. Spread over its 187 hectares, the population density works out to about 81 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 974 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 25, about 16 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 137 people, about 90 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
