Simbal Majra is a village of Kharar tehsil in SAS Nagar district, Punjab, in the Puadh region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Kharar, about 5 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Kharar community development block and is served by the Simbal Majara gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 039049, and it covers 99 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 568 people in Simbal Majra: 308 men and 260 women, living in 104 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household. Spread over its 99 hectares, the population density works out to about 574 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 844 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 52, about 9 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 0 people, about 0 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
