Bir Sarangwal is a village in Banga tehsil of SBS Nagar district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Doaba region, and the 2011 directory recorded Phagwara, about 5 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Banga community development block and is served by the Chak Mander gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 032156, and it covers 469 hectares. ## Population and households The 2011 census counted 52 people in Bir Sarangwal: 31 men and 21 women, living in 18 households, an average of about 2.9 people per household.
