Leader of the Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa and others scuffled with AAP MLA Jasvir Singh Raja Gill, and Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan ordered an inquiry into the entry blockade. ## What happened at the Assembly gate? ANI reported that Congress leaders including Khaira, Bajwa and Pargat Singh were reportedly not allowed to enter the premises. An altercation broke out between Raja Gill and senior Congress MLAs during a media address by Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh, who accused the opposition of disrupting his press briefing. Bajwa alleged that the notice used to block entry did not carry the Speaker's signature. He later walked out, and the Congress boycotted the rest of the proceedings. ## Why was Khaira suspended? Khaira was suspended on Friday for the remainder of the session after Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema moved a resolution accusing him of using unparliamentary language against the Chair and deliberately disrupting the House. The Assembly passed the resolution. Bajwa argued that even a suspended member has the right to enter the premises, and that the Speaker can then ask him to refrain from taking part. ## What was Bajwa's remark?
