Rauwal is a village of Dinanagar tehsil in Gurdaspur district, Punjab, in the Majha region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Dinanagar, about 7 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 931 people in Rauwal: 479 men and 452 women, living in 191 households, an average of about 4.9 people per household.
