Where is Bal Kohna?

Bal Kohna is a village of Nakodar tehsil in Jalandhar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Nakodar, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Nakodar community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 029865, and it covers 203 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 751 people in Bal Kohna: 377 men and 374 women, living in 163 households, an average of about 4.6 people per household.
