Where is Burewal?

Burewal is a village of Shahkot tehsil in Jalandhar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Shahkot, about 14 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 313 people in Burewal: 165 men and 148 women, living in 56 households, an average of about 5.6 people per household.
