Theh Kushalgarh is a village of Shahkot tehsil in Jalandhar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Lohian Khass, about 8 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Lohian Khas community development block and is served by the Sardarwala gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 029760, and it covers 100 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 382 people in Theh Kushalgarh: 193 men and 189 women, living in 78 households, an average of about 4.9 people per household. Spread over its 100 hectares, the population density works out to about 384 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 979 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 43, about 11 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 110 people, about 29 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
