Where is Ahingran?

Ahingran is a village of Jagraon tehsil in Ludhiana district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Phillaur, about 22 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Sidhwan Bet community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 033864, and it covers 95 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 88 people in Ahingran: 46 men and 42 women, living in 14 households, an average of about 6.3 people per household.
