Where is Baniawal?

Baniawal is a village in Jagraon tehsil of Ludhiana district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Mullanpur Dakha, about 4 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Sidhwan Bet community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 033813, and it covers 86 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 207 people in Baniawal: 110 men and 97 women, living in 42 households, an average of about 4.9 people per household.
