Bhaini Ala is a village of Ludhiana East tehsil in Ludhiana district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Sahnewal, about 9 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Ludhiana-II community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 033368, and it covers 312 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 2,934 people in Bhaini Ala: 1,542 men and 1,392 women, living in 625 households, an average of about 4.7 people per household.
