Where is Ghunewal?

Ghunewal is a village of Jagraon tehsil in Ludhiana district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Nakodar, about 15 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Sidhwan Bet community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 033847, and it covers 121 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 457 people in Ghunewal: 231 men and 226 women, living in 81 households, an average of about 5.6 people per household.
