Mand Chaunta is a village of Ludhiana East tehsil in Ludhiana district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Ludhiana, about 18 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Ludhiana-II community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 033400, and it covers 430 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 664 people in Mand Chaunta: 357 men and 307 women, living in 122 households, an average of about 5.4 people per household.
