Where is Iltfatpura?

Iltfatpura is a village in Malerkotla tehsil of Malerkotla district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Malerkotla, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Malerkotla-II community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 039442, and it covers 113 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,623 people in Iltfatpura: 822 men and 801 women, living in 267 households, an average of about 6.1 people per household. Spread over its 113 hectares, the population density works out to about 1,436 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 974 women for every 1,000 men.
