Momnabad is a village in Ahmedgarh tehsil of Malerkotla district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Ahmedgarh, about 4 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Malerkotla-II community development block and is served by the Momna Bad gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 039404, and it covers 375 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,483 people in Momnabad: 794 men and 689 women, living in 299 households, an average of about 5.0 people per household. Spread over its 375 hectares, the population density works out to about 395 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 868 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 135, about 9 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 308 people, about 21 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
