Where is Bibipur?

Bibipur is a village in Kharar tehsil of SAS Nagar district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Puadh region, and the 2011 directory recorded Kharar, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Kharar community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 039047, and it covers 163 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 283 people in Bibipur: 150 men and 133 women, living in 53 households, an average of about 5.3 people per household. Spread over its 163 hectares, the population density works out to about 174 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 887 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 27, about 10 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 10 people, about 4 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
