Ghurka is a village in Balachaur tehsil of SBS Nagar district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Doaba region, and the 2011 directory recorded Balachaur, about 16 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Balachaur community development block and is served by the Kuhar gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 032370, and it covers 64 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 61 people in Ghurka: 35 men and 26 women, living in 14 households, an average of about 4.4 people per household.
