Jharu Nangal is a village of Baba Bakala tehsil in Amritsar district, Punjab, in the Majha region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Rayya, about 7 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 650 people in Jharu Nangal: 325 men and 325 women, living in 137 households, an average of about 4.7 people per household.
