Where is Bhagatpura?

Bhagatpura is a village of Bassi Pathana tehsil in Fatehgarh Sahib district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Fatehgarh Sahib, about 14 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Khera community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 032537, and it covers 233 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 590 people in Bhagatpura: 313 men and 277 women, living in 96 households, an average of about 6.1 people per household.
