The 2011 directory recorded Bassi Pathana, about 5 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Bassi Pathana community development block and has its own gram panchayat. Population and households

The 2011 census counted 257 people in Karimpura: 140 men and 117 women, living in 48 households, an average of about 5.4 people per household.
