Where is Munderian?

Munderian is a village in Amloh tehsil of Fatehgarh Sahib district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Amloh, about 11 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Amloh community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 032876, and it covers 160 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 541 people in Munderian: 264 men and 277 women, living in 99 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household. Spread over its 160 hectares, the population density works out to about 338 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1049 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 72, about 13 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 339 people, about 63 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
