The 2011 census counted 1,116 people in Raipur Raian: 580 men and 536 women, living in 239 households, an average of about 4.7 people per household. Spread over its 240 hectares, the population density works out to about 465 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 924 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 136, about 12 per cent of the village.
