Gulam Rasul is a village of Fazilka tehsil in Fazilka district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Fazilka, about 15 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Fazilka community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 035042, and it covers 515 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 923 people in Gulam Rasul: 448 men and 475 women, living in 184 households, an average of about 5.0 people per household.
