Kamala Middu is a village of Firozpur tehsil in Ferozepur district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Mallanwala Khass, about 9 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Firozpur community development block and is served by the Kamal Middu gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 034560, and it covers 188 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 456 people in Kamala Middu: 235 men and 221 women, living in 73 households, an average of about 6.2 people per household. Spread over its 188 hectares, the population density works out to about 242 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 940 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 68, about 15 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 42 people, about 9 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
