Where is Khundar Uttar?

Khundar Uttar is a village of Guru Harsahai tehsil in Ferozepur district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Guru Har Sahai, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Mamdot community development block and is served by the Khunder Uttar gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 034753, and it covers 175 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 1,048 people in Khundar Uttar: 551 men and 497 women, living in 217 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household. Spread over its 175 hectares, the population density works out to about 599 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 902 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 111, about 11 per cent of the village.
