Machhiwara is a village in Firozpur tehsil of Ferozepur district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Guru Har Sahai, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 336 people in Machhiwara: 174 men and 162 women, living in 55 households, an average of about 6.1 people per household.
