Bhaini Kanian is a village of Gurdaspur tehsil in Gurdaspur district, Punjab, in the Majha region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Gurdaspur, about 15 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Kahnuwan community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 028373, and it covers 151 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 395 people in Bhaini Kanian: 207 men and 188 women, living in 59 households, an average of about 6.7 people per household.
