Where is Malogil?

Malogil is a village of Kalanaur tehsil in Gurdaspur district, Punjab, in the Majha region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Batala, about 14 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Dhariwal community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 028084, and it covers 101 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 328 people in Malogil: 170 men and 158 women, living in 65 households, an average of about 5.0 people per household.
