Aglaur is a village of Dasua tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Dasua, about 13 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Dasua community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030959, and it covers 273 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 993 people in Aglaur: 517 men and 476 women, living in 214 households, an average of about 4.6 people per household.
