The 2011 census counted 630 people in Bhagowal: 313 men and 317 women, living in 127 households, an average of about 5.0 people per household. Spread over its 178 hectares, the population density works out to about 354 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1013 women for every 1,000 men.
