The 2011 census counted 1,526 people in Dhadda Fateh Singh: 788 men and 738 women, living in 319 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household. Spread over its 243 hectares, the population density works out to about 628 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 937 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 157, about 10 per cent of the village.
