Where is Gurala?

Gurala is a village of Dasua tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Urmar Tanda, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Tanda community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030659, and it covers 96 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 448 people in Gurala: 217 men and 231 women, living in 114 households, an average of about 3.9 people per household.
