Mohkamgarh is a village of Dasua tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Urmar Tanda, about 9 kilometres away, as its nearest town. Population and households

The 2011 census counted 581 people in Mohkamgarh: 297 men and 284 women, living in 125 households, an average of about 4.6 people per household. Spread over its 222 hectares, the population density works out to about 262 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 956 women for every 1,000 men.
