Nainowal Jattan is a village of Hoshiarpur tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Hoshiarpur, about 13 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Hoshiarpur-I community development block and is served by the Nainowal--Jattan gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 031639, and it covers 115 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 950 people in Nainowal Jattan: 470 men and 480 women, living in 200 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household. Spread over its 115 hectares, the population density works out to about 826 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1021 women for every 1,000 men.
