Bhardwaji is a village of Phillaur tehsil in Jalandhar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Nurmahal, about 8 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Rurka Kalan community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030235, and it covers 259 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 976 people in Bhardwaji: 492 men and 484 women, living in 199 households, an average of about 4.9 people per household. Children up to the age of six numbered 105, about 11 per cent of the village.
