Where is Burj Kaila?

Burj Kaila is a village of Phillaur tehsil in Jalandhar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Nurmahal, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Nurmahal community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030026, and it covers 116 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 348 people in Burj Kaila: 186 men and 162 women, living in 77 households, an average of about 4.5 people per household.
