The village falls in the Jalandhar (West) community development block and is served by the Devi Daspur gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030554, and it covers 130 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 388 people in Devi Dasspur: 201 men and 187 women, living in 79 households, an average of about 4.9 people per household. Spread over its 130 hectares, the population density works out to about 300 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 930 women for every 1,000 men.
