Where is Jamsher?

Jamsher is a village of Shahkot tehsil in Jalandhar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Lohian Khass, about 5 kilometres away, as its nearest town. Population and households

The 2011 census counted 512 people in Jamsher: 273 men and 239 women, living in 94 households, an average of about 5.4 people per household.
